Salt, Pepper and a Dollop of Cream

One Woman's Journey through Her Cookbooks

Raspberry Mascarpone Macarons

I really like the sound of macaroons.  They look so pretty and delicate, so tantalising that you can only imagine how delicious they are as they crack and melt in your mouth.  I’ve two books on macaroons but have failed to make even the basic recipe!  Where am I going wrong?  Fellow blogger and fab baker Iris of Baked by Me has a a lovely recipe for raspberry macarons that has inspired me to give them another go.  Check it out here:  Raspberry Mascarpone Macarons.

My first attempt wasn’t perfect & I’m trying to summon up the courage to give it another go. How can such beautiful biscuits cause so much heartache in the kitchen!? Best of luck when you have another go! A xx
